When educational toy company LeapFrog needed help to develop launch titles for its Leapster handheld educational console we were glad to help. It was not a simple task, the platform was entirely new and untested—in fact it didn't even exist when development began.

However working with LeapFrog's uniquely skilled engineers and educators we were able to bring to market a compelling educational game that teaches basic match to first, seconds and third graders. Math Baseball not only teaches basic math in multiple modes and minigames, it has adaptive difficulty that always keeps the games challenging and the kids always learning something new. And it lets the kids make custom players, teams, uniforms and mascots.

International educational nonprofit Junior Achievement had an aging banking application that was frankly an unappealing and difficult to use spreadsheet. They wanted to not only update it to improve the interface and make it engaging to the teenagers it was aimed at, as well as making it multiplayer both locally and over the Internet.

Developed in partnership with out long-time partner Red i Studios, the final game is a dramatic change. While it retains the Banks in Action name and the sophisticated economic simulation of the original, it added so much more. The spreadsheet look is replaced with a more informative and intuitive tabbed interface. There are sound effects, intelligent and animated advisor characters who speak three languages, and the ability to play against other players over the Internet.
